Software Engineer

As part of our software development team you will build and maintain tailor made applications that are used across our trading teams and operational teams. Examples of projects you will work on include: a reconciliation tool for our trading systems and data insights and analysis tools. You will have a unique opportunity to position yourself among highly driven and experienced individuals in the trading world. This position is a full-stack position with emphasis on engineering and backend development.

What you’ll do:

• Design, build and deploy projects from start to finish;
• Collaborate with traders and other stakeholders;
• Learning all you can about the financial markets and trading.

• 1+ years of professional experience as a software engineer;
• Experience with OOP and software testing;
• An open and inquisitive mindset with ability to work and communicate closely with different teams in a fast-paced environment;
• Initiative to stick/contribute to improving development culture and processes;
• A strong desire for learning and taking responsibility proactively;
• Independent yet collaborative;
• Academically educated in computer science, mathematics, engineering or other related fields;
• Experience with Python and/or React (TS) is a big plus.
• Required to live in the Netherlands

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge and understanding of networks, hardware, databases, web servers and applications;
• Knowledge and understanding of financial markets and trading;
• Experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines.
